Douglas M. Field

Douglas Field’s practice includes business formation, maintenance and dissolution, civil litigation, with an emphasis in contracting, real estate, insurance, environmental, and employment litigation. Mr. Field has successfully represented, among others, businesses, business owners, property owners, contractors and subcontractors in a wide range of matters. He has met client objectives in negotiations, mediations, and litigations in state and federal court. Mr. Field is admitted to practice before all Courts of the State of California, as well as the Southern, Eastern and Northern United States District Courts.
Mr. Field is an experienced litigator with a diverse legal background. He utilizes thoughtful issue analysis, through a focus of client priorities, to bring value to the attorney-client relationship and swift resolution to business problems.
Mr. Field was born in Rahway, New Jersey, and graduated from Salisbury State University with a degree in English. He received his J.D. from California Western School of Law and was admitted to the California Bar in 2004. He lives with his wife in Ocean Beach, where he enjoys spending time outdoors and in the water.
