In his thirty-four years of practice, he has emphasized civil litigation, specializing insurance coverage, business liability and homeowner/landowner liability. Mr. McDonnell handles many areas of litigation, including cases involving fraud, wrongful termination, labor disputes, RICO, securities, commodities, insurance, business dissolutions, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. McDonnell has experience in representing corporations in all aspects of litigation, including insurance coverage. He has extensive court experience and has successfully litigated large and small cases on issues ranging from bad faith to civil RICO and antitrust. He is a native of California and graduated from the University of Pacific and its McGeorge School of Law. Mr. McDonnell has been admitted to practice in California since 1982.
Mr. McDonnell is also admitted to practice in all federal courts of the state of California and Nevada, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
